Online B Reflection

I personally think technology is very important in peoples daily lives. Most people would't be able to get through a whole day without using some sort of technology. Over the past five years technology has greatly changed and has become much more advanced. Technology continutes to advance and change day by day, and in the next five years it will improve and change greatly as well.

Technology is used in many different ways. It can be used in school in the form of a calculator, a computer or ever the over ehad speakers for announcments. In your personal live it can be used int he form of a cell phone to contact and text others. Computers and social networks are also used in many peopels personal lives.

I think that in the future, and even now I can use the tools that I learned in Online B to help me make spread sheets for a job someday, and how to properly research stuff for future essays and classes. I personally think that the most practical tool that I learned in this class that would help me for a lifetime is how to use Excel and Power Point and stuff properly. I personaly don't think I would ever use Digital Story and Flickr ever again, just because there are easiler ways to preform those tasks.

Screencast Blog Post

A screencast is a pretty much a video that you can record online, and show to others explaining something or just simply talking. 

I personally disliked creating on for class. My reason for disliking it so much was because I always got sidetracked by others, or felt really rushed and watched and like everything had to be perfect. 

I do understand how this could be very helpful though. It could show you how yo do something that you don't understand or teachers could use it in class.
I think it would be most helpful to teachers simply because it makes explaining stuff easier. 

Software License

The differences between Google Docs and Windows Live is that Windows is a lot more like Microsoft and Google Docs is a little different.

Career Cluster

My top three clusters where Health Science, Hospitality and Tourism, and Human Services.
The cluster that I most prefer would be Health Science. Health Science is Planning, managing, and providing therapeutic services, diagnostic services, health informatics, support services, and biotechnology research and development.
Some jobs that fall under the cluster of Health Science are Psychotherapist, Psychiatrist, Masters Level Counselor, Family Counselor, Substance Abuse Counselor, Direct Care Counselor/Worker, Youth/Adult Specialist, Case Coordinator, and a Caseworker.
Some skills and attributes a person who is going into Health Science should have are people-oriented and able to interact well with others. They should also possess excellent communication and organizational skills and have strong writing skills. They should be flexible and resourceful and be able to collaborate with others.

I honestly think Health Science is a good fit to me. I've always loved helping and working with others. I also enjoy writing, reading and observing. I honestly plan on being a counselor of some sort or a psychotherapist.

Technology Article

I read an article about Facebook employers asking their workers for their Facebook passwords.
It talks about how employers can get sued if they ask for their workers passwords.
